Spring Hills Connection Class -
first Sunday of each month

Instructor:  Tevis Austin - Discipleship Pastor

Our Spring Hills Connection Class provides a way to learn about our story, what we believe, and our values.  People learn about groups, how to get connected, how to discover their gifts, where to serve, and membership.  The class provides a way for us to gather around our mission of Building Generations for Christ.  Childcare is provided.

Moving Mountains -
Praying with Passion, Confidence and Authority -
starts September 23

Instructors:  Tevis Austin, Ryan and Sara DeVere, Dan Pound

How do I listen for God?  How do I pray for healing?  How do I pray when I am under spiritual attack or need break through with strongholds of habitual sin?  How do I pray for protection? This study is designed to answer questions like these so you can discover why some prayers seem to be more effective than others and how you have a role to play with God in bringing about change through prayer.  Learn how to experience the power of prayer and how to pray with confidence, passion, and authority. 

When:  Sundays, September 23 - October 28  (6:00pm - 7:30pm) - 6 Sessions

Discover Your Spiritual Shape and How God Can Use You -

This class will explore five areas (spiritual gifts, heart passion, abilities, personality, experiences) to help you have a greater understanding of God’s purpose and plan for your life.

Mentoring @ Spring Hills

This class is required for anyone interested in helping with our mentoring ministry at Spring Hills.  The class will include basic training with three tracks to choose from including general mentoring informally through life and conversation, discipleship mentoring, and marriage mentoring. You choose your area of focus.  Lunch will be provided and will include our vision and strategy for mentoring at Spring Hills and how you can be involved.

Biblical Fall Holy Days -
starts September 9

Instructors:  Bonnalee Greenwald, Rees Dwyer

This class will take a look at the traditional celebration of the fall Jewish Holy Days mentioned in Scripture. You'll learn how the Holy Days were fulfilled in Christ and how Messianic Jews expect Jesus to fulfill the fall holy days in His Second Coming.

When:  Sundays, Sept 9 - Oct 14 (4:00pm - 5:30pm) - 6 Sessions

This class will examine how the Lord inspired Peter to highlight the key role of creationism in the Church's last-day witness to the world.

Positive Parenting - Dealing with Disobedience -
September 13

Do you ever deal with disobedience from your kids? Of course.  We all do. This Positive Parenting Discussion Group looks at reasons why children may not do what their told and some practical suggestions to prevent disobedience, to teach your child limits, and to manage problems.

Facilitators: Facilitators from Licking County provided by Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) - a researched based, internationally recognized parenting support program

October 18

Find out what makes teenagers tick! You’ll come away with new ideas to encourage your teenager to make good decisions, be respectful, considerate, reliable and involved in family life.

Positive Parenting - Managing Fighting and Aggression -
November 15

Look at why children fight and learn practical suggestions to help prevent problems by teaching kids to play cooperatively, to resolve conflicts, and to manage problems without fighting or aggression.

When do classes occur?
Classes are offered in the fall and spring. Classes take place on different days and vary in length from one session to nine sessions to work better with your schedule and to allow you to participate in one or more classes.  

How much do classes cost?
There are no tuition fees, and most classes are free.  A few courses do require books and money is required to purchase the book.  See details for each class by downloading the catalogue below.  Simply pay for a class requiring a book when you register online or at the first class. (A limited number of scholarship are available to help cover book expenses.)  Contact Pastor Tevis at .

Is childcare available?
Childcare is provided for most classes.  Details are included with each class.  You may register for childcare when you sign up for each class.  If childcare is not provided, contact Brittany Pound at at least two weeks before the class begins to learn about possible assistance.  

How do I register?
Simply click on the registration button below when classes are available.  Register at least one week prior to the day a class begins.
