If you are a new to following Jesus, we want to help you to learn to walk with Jesus and grow in your relationship with God.  Discipleship mentors are willing to meet with you and encourage you as you learn to follow Jesus. Sign up to learn more or to connect with a discipleship mentor.

Baptism

We believe that an important step on your faith journey is baptism.  Baptism is a way to let others know Jesus has changed your life and that you have chosen to follow Him.  Our baptism class often takes place the third weekend of each month 45 minutes before each service.  Sign up for this class to learn about baptism or to be baptized.

*Spring Hills Connection Class - first Sunday of each month

Our Spring Hills Connection Class provides a way to learn about our story, our mission, what we believe, our groups, and how to get connected.  You’ll get to meet a few people, find out about opportunities to serve, and discover how you can partner with us to make a difference in our community and world. This class also provides information about how to become a member.  Childcare is provided.
When:  the first Sunday of each month (10:30am - 12pm) - 1 Session

*Discover Your Design:  How You Can Impact Our World - 2 Session

This class will help you explore five areas (spiritual gifts, heart passion, abilities, personality, experiences) so you can have a greater understanding of how God has designed you so you can serve with purpose.
When:  Sundays, February 9 and 16 (10:30a - 12p) - 2 Sessions

*Discipleship Mentor Training

This class will equip you with the tools needed to disciple others to walk with Jesus through relational mentoring and conversations centered on Kingdom living.  This class is required for our discipleship mentors to disciple new believers and it’s recommended for any group leaders or team leaders.
When:  Register for this class and we will notify you when then next class is offered.

*Leadership Essentials - Developing Your Leadership Potential

Leadership starts with you.  This book and discussion group covers foundational principles for leadership, teamwork, communication, and how to develop as a leader.

*Mentoring @ Spring Hills

The Mentoring Ministry of Spring Hills Church provides mentors who come alongside people in difficult seasons or situations to minister insight, healing, and spiritual growth in a one-on-one, non-clinical environment.  Mentors meet with individuals on a short-term basis and are trained to provide a listening ear, supportive encouragement, empowered prayer, and biblical guidance.  We provide an orientation and training for our mentors.  The tools provided with this training also benefits anyone working with teams or small groups.  You can even choose an area of focus including general mentoring through life and conversation, discipleship mentoring, or marriage mentoring. 
When:  Register for Mentoring @ Spring Hills if you are interested in learning about our vision and strategy for mentoring and how you can be involved.  You will be contacted by someone from our mentoring leadership team.

Financial Peace University - starts February 9

78% of people live paycheck to paycheck.  66% of Americans would struggle to pay for a $1000 emergency.  And financial problems are one of the top causes of marriage struggles and divorce. FPU is a 9-week video based class taught by Dave Ramsey, Rachel Cruze, and Chris Hogan.  FPU is designed to bring peace, stability, accountability, encouragement, and hope to individuals and families.  Through life-changing videos, online tools, and resources, you will learn how to create and stick to a budget, save for emergencies, pay off debt, and plan for the future. 
When 9 Sessions • Sundays • 6p – 7.30p • Feb 9 – April 5
Location: Spring Hills (Worship Area) • Childcare Provided
Cost:  $99 for FPU Member Kit  - register by February 5 through Spring Hills University at springhillschurch.org  (The first five who register online will receive a $10 gift card). 
What does FPU Membership Include?  course materials, an app to manage your monthly budget, livestreams to keep you motivated, access to coaches, additional resources including how to teach your kids to manage money.
Scholarships:  There are a limited number of partial scholarship available. Contact .  Consider providing a FPU scholarship or provide FPU as a gift to someone you know, a young adult, or newly married couple.  It can change their lives.

Boundaries:  When to Say Yes, How to Say No to Take Control of Your Life 

Learn how to set healthy, biblical boundaries with your spouse, children, friends, parents, co-workers, and even yourself.  
When:  8 sessions - Sundays, February 2 - March 22  (6p – 7:30p)

Cost: $10 for the New York Times bestseller, Boundaries, by Drs. Henry Cloud and John Townsend; $10 for Workbook (optional).  Please indicate when you register if you would like both the book and workbook

Register by January 26 if you desire a book/workbook by the 1st session.

SHU FAQ:

When do classes occur?
Classes are offered in the fall and spring. Classes take place on different days and vary in length from one session to nine sessions to work better with your schedule and to allow you to participate in one or more classes.  

How much do classes cost?
There are no tuition fees, and most classes are free.  A few courses do require books and money is required to purchase the book.  See details for each class by downloading the catalogue below.  Simply pay for a class requiring a book when you register online or at the first class. (A limited number of scholarship are available to help cover book expenses.)  Contact Pastor Tevis at .

Is childcare available?
Childcare is provided for most classes.  Details are included with each class.  You may register for childcare when you sign up for each class.  If childcare is not provided, contact Brittany Pound at at least two weeks before the class begins to learn about possible assistance.  

How do I register?
