Host Teams

Our Host Teams work together to create a welcoming, seamless, and meaningful experience for every person who walks through our doors. From the parking lot to the worship center, each role plays a vital part in helping people feel seen, valued, and at home. Whether it’s offering a warm greeting, providing clear direction, or meeting practical needs, our Host Team serves with intentionality and care.
No matter your personality or gifting, there’s a place for you to make a difference. Each team works together to remove barriers, create connections, and help every guest take their next step toward community.

Host Team Roles

Greeters

Greeters serve on the front lines of first impressions by offering a warm, genuine welcome to every person who arrives. They create an environment where people feel seen, valued, and comfortable from the moment they step onto campus. Greeters are attentive, approachable, and ready to assist with simple needs while helping set a positive and inviting tone for the entire experience.

Guest Services

(Info Desk, Campus Guides & Next Steps)
Guest Services team members intentionally look for guests and those who may need assistance, helping them navigate the campus and feel at ease. This role includes connecting guests to Campus Guides who can personally walk with them to key areas, as well as helping direct people to the Next Steps area for further connection. The goal is to remove confusion, answer questions, and help people take meaningful next steps toward community and involvement.

Parking Lot Greeters

Parking Lot Greeters are often the very first point of contact for guests and attenders. They create a welcoming and organized arrival experience by greeting people with enthusiasm, directing traffic, and helping individuals find convenient parking. They remain attentive to safety, weather conditions, and special needs, ensuring that everyone feels cared for before they even step out of their vehicle.

Shuttle Drivers

Shuttle Drivers provide a safe, friendly, and efficient transportation experience for guests and attenders who need assistance getting from parking areas to the building. They serve with a hospitable attitude, engaging in friendly conversation when appropriate and helping passengers feel comfortable and valued. Shuttle Drivers prioritize safety, clear communication, and timely service while representing the heart of the church from the moment someone steps on the shuttle.

Ushers

(Info Desk, Campus Guides & Next Steps)
Ushers help create a smooth, distraction-free worship environment by assisting guests in finding seats, facilitating transitions, and being attentive to needs during the service. They remain aware of the room, ready to help individuals or families find appropriate seating, support special circumstances, and assist with room setup as needed. Ushers serve with quiet attentiveness and a servant’s heart, helping ensure that every person can engage in worship comfortably and without barriers.

Hospitality Teams

(Events and Connection Class)
The Hospitality Team helps create welcoming environments for special events and the Connection Class by preparing spaces, organizing details, and fostering a sense of belonging. They ensure that guests feel comfortable and cared for through thoughtful setup, refreshments, and personal interaction. This team plays a key role in helping people move from attending to connecting by creating spaces where relationships can begin and grow.
