Kenya Orphan Educational Sponsorship 2026
Working out of the Chafisi Baptist Church of Gedi, Kenya, the CBEM Mission Orphanage supports over 90 orphans who need educational scholarships to continue their schooling.
Each scholarship is $100.00 US dollars per quarter, or $400.00 annually.
A scholarship covers all necessary fees, uniforms, lunches, and materials for the scholarship period.

- PRAISE for their MISSION: To provide safe, supportive, faith-based housing for single, pregnant and parenting women to focus on building stable, self-sustaining lives!
- PRAISE they have been able to serve in this past year: four residents, three babies born, two part-time staff members, two contractors and 13 current volunteers! Since inception in 2021 they've had more than 45 moms and babies participate! "And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to him who is seated on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever." Revelation 4:9-10
PRAY:
- Asking for oneness of mind, Spirit and heart such that they seek God’s presence & purpose amidst a myriad of challenges on their doorstep!
- May there be an OUTPOURING of devotion to Christ, love for others & boldness in aligning themselves with God’s will over His charge to know Christ and make Him known! "I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you. And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh." Ezekiel 36:25-27
- Inviting the Holy Spirit to anoint all conversations, actions and words – such that they represent His will, His way and His hope to those in trials and struggles… Falling under conviction, accepting the atoning sacrifice of Christ’s blood on the cross and resulting resurrection from the grave as our Sole Provider of peace and life! "Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long." Psalm 25:5
- May the Lord grant wisdom, direction and favor upon the desire to locate additional volunteers for: babysitting, transportation assistance, meeting residents over coffee, the store, cooking a meal together or doing crafts.
- Looking for life coaches for the women at the house, a 6 month time commitment and training will be offered.

The Missions Cafe is open on Saturdays and Sundays 30 minutes before each service. It offers our members and guests an amazing cup of coffee, fellowship before service, and the excellent opportunity to support our local and international missions!
The Missions Cafe had $3,041.59 in net proceeds in 2023! Those proceeds were equally donated to:

- Eight 28 Enterprises: providing a Christian residential program for men
- Kingdom Pillars Strong Tower: providing a Christian safe haven for women
- Wycliffe Bible Translators: working with churches, and communities until everyone can access God's Word in their native laguage.
