This class is for anyone interested in learning more about mentoring and is required for anyone serving in our mentoring ministry at Spring Hills. The class equips apprentice leaders with general mentoring skills. Learn about our vision and strategy for mentoring at Spring Hills.


This class will equip you with the tools needed to have 7 key conversations centered on Kingdom living and following Jesus, to have with others new to the faith.  This class is recommended for anyone discipling others new to the Christian faith, including mentors, group leaders, and team leaders.

Missional Living and Training Category.  This training equips you with missional values and strategies to partner with God in your lifestyle and service to be on a mission to invite others into the Kingdom. Learn natural ways to share your story and faith.

Next Level Leadership focuses on how to become a leader who can build a team.  You will learn how to identify potential team members, how to invite them to your team, how to train potential leaders, and how to cultivate a healthy and productive team.

This class will give a brief review of part 1 in Next Level Leadership on how to develop others into teams by motivating and positioning them for success. Part 2 will now focus on ways to train and sustain a team to be healthy and productive. 

If you are new to faith in Jesus or just want to learn more about the Bible, this class will help you better understand God’s Word.  Part 1 presented an overview of the entire Bible.  Part 2 will focus on the Old Testament, major themes, the structure, how to read the Old Testament, and why it is essential to the Christian faith.

Leadership is built on relationships and people skills. Discover the fundamentals common to all good relationships. Learn key listening skills and how to have honest, healthy, and meaningful communication. Gain the skills to deal with conflict and have a healthy confrontational conversation.

Learn how to prepare to have the conversation and how to have the difficult conversation with practical examples of people in your life. We will talk about speaking the truth in love and dealing with blame, counterattacks, and other problems.

Part 1 examined fundamental communication skills and healthy confrontation.  Part 2 focused on preparing to have a difficult conversation, speaking the truth in love, and dealing with blame, counterattacks, and other problems.  Part 3 will focus on life examples of how to have difficult conversations with people in your life.

This class goes beyond helping you discover your natural talents to positively impact our world for God and surround you with others who complement your abilities. Part 2 is about utilizing your strengths to lead in a positive manner rather than a destructive one.

Drawing on five powerful practices found in Jesus’ ministry, you will learn practical strategies to multiply your dreams, initiate permission-giving conversations, develop an apprenticeship system, activate your leader’s gifts, and develop a simple scoreboard that measures kingdom-building progress.

Part 1 addressed why it is important to become a hero maker by looking at Jesus' leadership and how to lead as a hero maker. Part 2 will now focus on the 5 essential practices of hero making and how to apply them in your life.
