Empowered (Part 2): Worth the Wait

This weekend at Spring Hills Baptist Church, Pastor Dan Pound continued our Empowered series with a message titled Worth the Wait, focusing on Acts 1 and the promise of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Dan reminded us that while we wait on God, we have a choice: wander, withstand, whine, work, worry, or worship. Through the example of Jesus being led by the Spirit in the wilderness and the call to worship in Philippians 4, we were challenged to trust God’s timing actively. Pastor Dan shared from his journey and emphasized that walking in the Spirit is not just possible, but essential for the Christian life. The message left us with a renewed call to live each day empowered by the presence of the Holy Spirit.
