Worship Ministries

Worship at Spring Hills isn’t just about music—it’s about leading people into the presence of God with authenticity, passion, and purpose. Our Worship Team exists to lift up the name of Jesus, create meaningful moments, and cultivate a culture of worship both on and off the stage.

Brad Pilkington - Senior Associate Pastor/Worship

Hi! I’m Pastor Brad, Senior Associate Pastor/Worship. I’m married to Paula, SHBC Women’s Ministry Leader, and our son is Jack, SHBC Audio Director. I earned my M.M. in Choral Conducting from Webster University in St. Louis, MO, and my B.A. in Music Education from Missouri Baptist College (now University).

It’s been my privilege to serve as SHBC’s Worship Pastor since Easter Sunday, 1993. Wow! God is good!! I like to tell people, “I have the greatest job in the world!” because the ministry of worship never gets old. I look forward to every day. There’s nothing better to me than directing people to worship and praise Jesus.
Worship Ministries at Spring Hills are dedicated to developing lifelong, lifestyle worshipers of Jesus Christ. We challenge followers of Christ to intentionally bring glory to Jesus Christ, worship Him moment by moment and day by day, then gather in corporate worship settings, large and small, to express our praise to the One Who deserves all the glory: The Lord Jesus Christ! Who else is worthy?!

Do you sing, play an instrument, or have experience with audio, video, or lighting? Let me know, and we’ll get the conversation started about you possibly jumping in with us!

So I Could Live - Spring Hills Worship

"So I Could Live” is a simple reminder of what Jesus did for us. It’s about His love, His sacrifice, and the new life we get to walk in because of it.

Written from a place of gratitude and honesty, this song is for anyone who’s ever needed to slow down and remember what it’s all really about.

Beyond Sunday

Seasonal Choirs

Twice a year, we pull together a powerful multi-generational choir to help lead some of our biggest services—Easter and Christmas Eve Eve. Whether you’re a seasoned vocalist or just love to sing, this is a fun, high-impact way to be part of something bigger.

Hymn Nights

Quarterly, we gather for an acoustic-led night of classic hymns, scripture, and stillness. It’s a space to slow down, sing out, and remember the faithfulness of God.

Worship Nights

A few times a year, we set aside a night to simply worship - with no schedule, no rush, no pressure, and honestly no plan. Just space to go deeper in God’s presence through music, prayer, and community.
