Overcome (Week 5) | The Opportunity of Adversity

This weekend, we continue our series Conquering Adversity with Part 5: The Opportunity of Adversity. Life’s hardships can either break us down or draw us closer to God. Through the story of Hannah in 1 Samuel 1:1–20, we’ll see how adversity becomes an invitation to pour out our souls to the Lord—acknowledging our pain, crying out in prayer, and ultimately moving into thanksgiving and worship. Too often we suppress our struggles, lash out at others, or try to numb the pain. But when we release everything to God, adversity shifts from a burden into a place of growth and breakthrough. Join us as we learn how sharpening our spiritual skills can transform life’s challenges into opportunities for deeper faith and renewed strength.
